CIHC is a 2-year initiative funded by Health Canada Overview The Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC) promotes collaboration in health and education CIHC is Canada’s national hub for resources and networking around interprofessional education, collaboration in healthcare practice and patient-centred care

CIHC is a 2-year initiative funded by Health Canada CIHC CIHC believes that patients receive better care: –When health providers from all health disciplines work together –When the patient (and their family) is a vital and engaged member of the healthcare team –When health providers, patients and families learn and work together for the benefit of the patient Our goal is to share this knowledge with health system planners, health providers and educators to ensure interprofessional collaboration is a key part of policymaking and curriculum development
