ROSA PARKS

 She was born in Tuskegee, USA in  She was “The Mother of the Modern- day Civil Rights Movement.”  She became famous for Bus Boycott movement.  She was died on 2005.

SITTING DOWN  On 1955 in Alabama, Rosa Parks after a long day of work, she went get a city bus to go at home.  She sat in one of the few sites that were free, who happened to white people, but a white person came and wanted to sit and she got up and as I had to do and did and was arrested for breaking the rules.

BOYCOTT  On Decembre 5, black people decided to boycott all city buses. They chose Martin Luther, Jr. To direct. This morning, King and the other leaders wait nervously at a bus stop to see whether their plan will work. Everything was a success. Black people picked up other transport to travel.  Thaat same day, Rosa Parks go to court. The judge finds her guilty of breaking a city segration law. Rosa Park’s attorney, it is unfair and will appeal the case to the U.S Supreme Court.

DR. KING SPEECH  People are inspired by the success of the boycott and Martin Luther King giving a speech saying they are tired of being humiliated. They decide to continue with the boycott to change the law to discriminate.

BOYCOTT WORKS  The bus boycott continues. Slowly but surely the bus company begins to lose money.  Nevertheless, the company doesn't change its segregation political.  Eventually the bus company is forced to cut back on the number of buses serving the city.  The protesters stay calm, resist using violence, and continue to follow the guidance of their leader, Dr. King.

NONVIOLENCE  Harassment grows worse as the boycott continues. Protesters recieve threatening phone calls; their homes are vandalized  On day a bomb explodes at Martin Luther King house’s. His wife, their two-month-old baby and a friend are inside.  No one has been hurt. Supporters are furious. King tells them not to fright. King tells crowd calmly “We must meet violence with nonviolence”

Supreme Court Ruling  After many years of effort, thanks to boycott and get change protesters against afromaericanos law. Rosa Parks with Martin Luther King was sitting on the front of a bus and wanders around the city.

 The boycott lasted 381 days the Bus Boycott was the beginning of an era of non-violence protests in supports of civil rights in the United Stated.

 Now, we all remember and celebrate this day as an important date. We also commemorate the ‘I Have A Dream’ speech by Martin Luther. It gave hope to the citizens
