The Sex pistols! The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that formed in London in They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Although their initial career lasted just two-and-a-half years and produced only four singles and one studio album; “Never Mind the Bollocks- here’s one of their songs “God save the Queen” The Pistols are remembered not only for being the most well known of all punk bands but for playing "God Save The Queen (their version)" on a boat on the Thames River during the Queen's Jubilee. The performance had them all arrested (including McLaren) and saw the single banned and rise to number 1.
