Presentation transcript:

Monday Copy HW from agenda… Get food web poster from class stack and immediately get started Draw an Energy Pyramid on the bottom half of your poster and leave it blank for now…use a ruler!

Energy Pyramid Organisms Place only the following on the appropriate trophic level of your energy pyramid: Aphid, grasshopper, fox, bee, butterfly, hawk, bear, mouse, cockroach, worm, millipede, all producers (list them), raccoon, deer

Food Web & Energy Pyramid Poster Design a food web using the cutouts provided. Make sure arrows point to who GETS the energy!! Once approved, draw your food web onto the poster provided. (some organisms may not be used) 3. Write a narrative: (rough draft first) INDIVIDUALLY! Describe how energy moves through your food web starting with the sunlight. Use the following vocabulary and underline it in your paragraph: organisms, food web, producer/autotroph, consumer/heterotroph, decomposer, energy, abiotic, and biotic.

Food Web Directions Poster Requirements: Picture and label for each organism. Cover as much of the paper as possible. Color must be used. Neat and organized. Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers are featured. At least 1 Abiotic factor is used. All eight vocabulary words were included AND underlined.
