Should kids be required to wear school uniforms. By:Isabelle knoth

My Opinion No, kids should not be required to wear school uniforms. Lots of kids express their personality through there clothes. They can’t do that when they all look alike. Also school uniforms are not cute.

5 th grade In the fifth grade I found that 5 people wanted us to have school uniforms. But 36 people said no we should not have school uniforms.

4 th grade In fourth grade I found out that 12 kids wanted school uniforms. But 30 kids said no we should not wear school uniforms.

Core democratic value My core democratic value is popular sovereignty. 66kids agree we should not be required to wear school uniforms.Only 17 kids think we should be required to wear school uniforms.

Things that support my research If a school changed to a policy that was you had to wear a school uniform you would have to buy a new wardrobe. You would also have to buy more that one thing of everything because it would be gross if you wore the same outfit every day. Your clothes wouldn’t be all the way washed and dried by the time you have to go to school.

Extra information Therefore in conclusion I believe that we should not be required to wear school uniforms.We have individual rights and I believe we should be able to wear what we want but nothing inappropriate. It would cost more money because you would have to buy different clothes in the summer.
