Plains A area of flat land with 0 trees. The Interior plains stretch out through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.

Plateaus A plateau is a large area of flat land that is raised high above the land around it.Example the Ozark Plateaus.

Ocean The largest bodies of water is oceans. The Atlantic Ocean borders United States on the East.

Mountains A giant mass of raised land. The Rocky Mountains stretch North from New Mexico & up past Montana.

Desert A large place of sand.Example Great Salt Lake Desert.

Island A mass of land in the middle of water. Example Hawaii.
