Philippians 2 A Radical Way of Life

2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus… Philippians 2:3-4 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus… …make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?

You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then the one day you find ten years have got behind you… The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older And shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines.

“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Jn.13:35 James 4:1-2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel.

HOW ????!!!!

Where’s the Guarantee? Romans 5:7-10 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Taught Throughout Scripture “For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…” Phil. 1:29 Jn.13:34-5 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. Jn. 15:12-13 This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.
