Information Literacy Student Learning Outcome: 1.Student will be able to access needed information effectively and efficiently. 2.Student will be able to evaluate information and information sources critically, and incorporate selected information into his/her knowledge base. Assignment: –Conduct a search on a specific research topic, and describe the process used to identify and select two resources (books, periodicals or other sources) relevant to that research topic.

Question #4: Explain how you applied the following criteria to the sources you selected: relevance, timeliness, reliability. Measure - Question #4 Very Good 4 pts. Good 3 pts Needs Improvement 2 pts Deficient 1 pt Student applies relevance, timeliness and reliability in the selection of sources. Be involved - look for opportunities on your campus! Use the terminology and tools of the faculty. Get two or three faculty to market your product.
