Religious Based-Bigotry attitudes of prejudice, hostility or discrimination that are falsely justified by religious teachings or beliefs. -Kiersten Meyers

How Does The System Work?

Why Is The System Broken? The LGBTQ Community is in fear.

 A fear of violence: according to the Hetrick-Martin Institute Violence Report, 11.5% of gay and lesbian youth report being physically attacked by family.

 A fear of religion: to either lose their faith or stick with it and persevere.  A fear of being “found out,” bullied and judged

 Generationout.org- 42% of adolescent lesbians and 34% adolescent gay males who have suffered physical attack also attempt suicide.

 [scriptures] –how people use the Bible to justify their gay opposition.

What Is Being Done To Fix The System?
