ACCOUNTING BY: BRITT BOLER

WHAT IS ACCOUNTING? ACCOUNTING IS AN INFORMATION SCIENCE USED TO COLLECT, CLASSIFY, AND MANIPULATE FINANCIAL DATA FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS.

WHY I'M INTERESTED I AM INTERESTED IN ACCOUNTING BECAUSE IF YOU DO WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME AN ACCOUNTANT YOU CAN BE VERY SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE. I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A CPA (CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT) THAT DEALS WITH FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND WHO DEAL WITH MONEY THAT COME IN AND OUT OF THE BUSINESS YOU ARE WORKING FOR.

SCHOOL THE DEGREE YOU WILL NEED TO WORK FOR TO BECOME AN ACCOUNTANT IS EITHER A BACHELORS OR MASTERS DEGREE WHICH USUALLY TAKES FOUR YEARS TO FIVE YEARS IF YOU GO WITH THE FULL COARSE. BUT REALLY AND DEGREE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ACCOUNTING.

MONEY ACCOUNTANTS EARNED AVERAGE SALARIES OF $65,840 A YEAR. THE LOWEST-PAID 10 PERCENT EARNED LESS THAN $36,720, WHILE THE HIGHEST-PAID 10 PERCENT EARNED MORE THAN $102,380. THE MEDIAN SALARY, OR HALFWAY POINT BETWEEN THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST, WAS $59,430 A YEAR.

ANALYSIS AFTER DOING ALL OF MY HARD WORK RESEARCH I FOUND OUT THAT I DO WANT TO BE AN ACCOUNTANT AND THAT I WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THE HARD WORK AND SCHOOL TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNTANT.
