Why was there opposition to the Weimar Republic ? Keywords: -Communist -Spartacist -Freikorps -Kapp Putsch Learning objectives: I can describe the two different types of opposition to the Weimar Republic. I can evaluate which threat was the most serious and why.

What threats were there towards the Weimar Republic? The characters on your sheet show the threat to the Weimar Republic and how Ebert (the President) tried to deal with these threats. Extension: Write a speech for one of the characters explaining why they’re opposed to Weimar. Task 1 Match up the statements with who might have said them.
