Today we listened to the song “El Condor Pasa (if I could)”, performed by Simon & Garfunkel.

The original “El Condor Pasa” song is a Peruvian song written in 1913 and based on traditional Andean folk music. Paul Simon wrote new lyrics and included the song in the classic 1970 LP “Bridge over troubled water”, which was Simon & Garfunkel’s fifth and last record.

Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk-rock duo consisting of guitarist/singer- songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel.
