 Their outer coat is thick and straight.  The colors of their fur are black tan, black silver and any other solid color except white.  German Shepherds hair length is medium.  Their personalities are strong, courageous, fearless, friendly and they are good to have for protection.  They weigh 75 pounds – 95 pounds.  Fact: I used to have a German Shepherd but he passed away about two years ago. Characteristics

 Feeding- 3 to 4 cups of dry food divided into 2 meals a day. Serve it regular.  Toys- they enjoy ropes and bones but they’d rather have a job than a toy. Their lives need....

 Today we use German Shepherd’s for police, military guards and just to have them as a pet.  Their original use is to be a Herding Dog.  They are from Germany.  They used to be called the Alsatian Wolf Dog. Today and History
