Part 11: Road Test Requirements

Imagine the result What is a Road Test? You are required by regulation to have a Road Test to evaluate your ability to safely operate a CMV ARCADIS requires each CMV driver and potential CMV driver to complete a Road Test in a CMV they are expected to operate while employed at ARCADIS

Imagine the result What Constitutes a Road Test? The Road Test will be performed in conjunction with a driving LPO and will be based on the following criteria: The pre-trip inspection Coupling and uncoupling of combination units, if the equipment you may drive includes combination units Placing the CMV in operation Use of the CMVs controls and emergency equipment Operating the CMV in traffic and while passing other motor vehicles Turning the CMV Braking, and slowing the CMV by means other than braking Backing and parking the CMV

The original handwritten copy of the LPO form will be signed by the driver being evaluated and the person evaluating the driver The original LPO form will be retained in the Driver Qualification File, do not lose it If successfully passing the Road Test, you will be issued a Certification of Road Test. DO NOT LOSE THIS CERTIFICATE You need to have the original or copy of this certificate with you while driving a CMV for ARCADIS A copy of this certificate will also be placed in your Driver Qualification File
