Two Dimensional Motion

Projectile Motion A projectile is an object upon which the only force acting is gravity The horizontal motion is independent of the vertical motion. Horizontally: nothing is acting on the projectile so it moves at constant velocity in the x-direction. Vertically: gravity (g) acts on the object so it accelerates in the y-direction.
