The Qur’an  Muslims follow a sacred book called The Qur’an that gives them guidance for everyday life.  In their Holy Book, there is a special diet that they have to follow.

Meats and Fish  Muslims, according to their diet, are allowed to eat Meats and Fish.  It is only some types of Meats and sea food that they are not allowed to eat.

Firstly  For example, Muslims are only allowed to eat ‘Halal’ meat. Halal means lawful.  It means that the animal has to be killed after saying “In the name of God”.

Secondly  Muslims are not allowed to eat meat that has been dead already (meaning it wasn’t killed).  They also aren’t allowed to have animal blood, any form of Pork or any Carnivorous animal.

Vegetables  Muslims are allowed to eat every fruit and vegetable with no exceptions.  The most popular vegetables are cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants and okra.
