Model See directions from previous labs reports. You can create the model electronically or insert a picture of a hand-drawn, neat model.

Research Question See directions from previous labs reports.

Procedures Brief procedures in paragraph format. Instead of “First, do this. Then, do that…” say “Initial dissolved oxygen was measured using …”

Results See directions from previous labs reports.

Statistics Table See directions from previous labs reports. Include means and standard deviations. Tables can also be made in Word, Excel, or other program. Do not include raw data.

Graph See directions from previous labs reports. What kind of graph should you use? Graphs can be made in Excel or other spreadsheet program. If you don’t have access to spreadsheet software, then create it by hand on graph paper and insert a picture of it here. Remember everything a graph needs.

Discussion See directions from previous labs reports. Explain the science behind the findings. Why did the IV affect the DV. Include a brief explanation of photosynthesis, osmosis, or other concept if necessary.

Conclusions See directions from previous labs reports. Two to three sentences to summarize the findings of the project.

References Cite references used in the Background Information. Use either APA or MLA style, just be consistent.
