Somalia By Courtney Crombie and Rhea Lomax

Somalia Research Weather- Average year round temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit The equator runs through Somalia. Capital- Somalia’s capital is Mogadishu. (mog-a-deesh-u) Language’s- Somalians speak Somali, English, Italian, and Arabic. Food- Somalians eat bananas, grain, milk, sugar, and livestock. Population- 5,362,000 about the same as New York 3,574,666 are Nomatic.

Special things about Somalia Clothes- toga( brightly colored cloth’s around their bodies). Education- not a lot only 24% can read. Special-Somalia is mostly dessert but 70% of the people own farms. Starving-A lot of people starve because of drought and because their in the civil war.

More Somalia research Government- Somalia has no government they are transitional. Religion- Somalia has only two religions Islam and Christian. Location- Somalia is located on the horn of Africa on north eastern coast. Flag-Somalia’s flag is light blue with a big white star in the center.
