Performance Assurance 21 st May Value Chain

Value Chain Xoserve would like to propose an approach to further aid the development of the Performance Assurance Framework. The approach is based on Xoserve’s experiences in the development of business rules and logical analysis for the UK Link Programme. Our proposal is to develop a ‘value chain’ for Performance Assurance. First of all we would like to develop this at level 2 but then down to levels 3 and 4. To develop this approach it will involve creating the first level with the Workgroup during an interactive workshop. Xoserve will provide the business knowledge, facilitator and process modellers. The workgroup will provide the requirements.

Benefits The benefits of the approach include: – Documented rules and associated relationships –The true requirements are established – Relationship mapping of business rule ensures any change is fully assessed –Supporting process flow diagrams are available and visible to all –Once developed the whole arrangement is fully maintained and can continue to do so through the arrangement lifecycle –The detailed business rules naturally fall out for Mod development and process and system development

Value Chain I believe we can create the level 2 value chain in one meeting, therefore would like to propose that the June meeting be used for this purpose. Once the first level is developed the lower level falls quickly into place but further workgroups may be required to complete The following slide shows the Xoserve value chain at Levels 1 and 2
