A draft of the new Law “On Public Procurement” has been developed with involvement of specialists from various ministries and agencies, NGOs, the business community, as well as consultants from the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNCITRAL. These training seminars started in March of this year. They will be conducted throughout the Kyrgyz Republic. It has been planned to train around 2,800 staff members of ministries, organizations and agencies, as well as employees of their structural divisions responsible for conducting procurement.
