Task 5.1 Integration of Systems and Components A small scale IMS platform was properly configured for the needs of ADAMANTIUM in the premises of DEMOKRITOS  IMS (Release 7) HSS P-CSCF S-CSCF I-CSCF PDF (v6)-> PCRF (v7) I-BGF (Performs policy enforcement functions under the control of IMS) -> Integrated within IMM/EMM  Access Network PCRF Access Network Marking Module (IMM) Access network Monitoring Module (EMM) Tests performed over VODAFONE UMTS access network  Core Network DiffServ Core Network Marking Module (IMM) Core Network Marking Module (EMM) External interface of TNMM with ΕΜΜ External Interface of TNAM with IMM

Integration of MCMS with Core Network External Interface of TNAM of MCMS has been integrated with Ingress router (IMM) External Interface of TNMM of MCMS has been integrated with Egress router (EMM)

Task 5.2 Integration of IPTV application Several IPTV components have been integrated towards the final version of the MSRF. The first working version of the MSRF integrates the following components: SIP User Agent (for session initiation, receiving adaptation commands and session teardown) RTSP Server for media delivery control: play, pause; Media streamer to send the video content to the user; Media Controller, which manages available contents on the server; MMIF which enforces the adaptation commands. A first working version of the IPTV clients was also integrated, which includes the following: Media Controller, which creates the session when the user selects a media; SIP User Agent for session control; RTSP Client, for media control; Media Player to receive and play the video content; Adapter to generate the terminal's capabilities and to update the playing process on successful adaptation responses. We tested these intermediate versions with different videos content, encoded in various formats: MPEG2, MPEG4 / H264, Windows Media Video (WMV). We triggered adaptation with the MSAM.

Task 5.3 Integration of VoIP application VoIP service has been integrated within the ADAMANTIUM openIMS core testbed.  Voice calls are supported  Video calls are supported  Both mobile and laptop terminals are supported  Testing with various codecs for checking compatibility issues.
