Shapes and Design Unit Project By: Manny Meza

Triangle Triangles Have 3 Sides. For An equilateral triangle Each angle is 60°. The Angle Sum Of A Triangle Is 180°. The 3 Types of Triangles Are Scalene, Isosceles, and Equilateral. The Interior angle of the triangle is 180°. You can Find Triangle On the ground for a tile or holding up a bridge because Triangles can rotate any way and tile anywhere.

Quadrilateral A quadrilateral has 4 sides. The Sum Of the Interior Angle Is 360° Each Angle Is 90°. The Different Versions Of a Quadrilateral are Rhombus’, Parallelograms, Squares, rectangles, and Trapezoids. You Can find Quadrilaterals in places such as Windows for buildings and Tiles.

Pentagon A Pentagon Has 5 Sides. A Pentagon’s Interior Angle Sum Is 540°. Each angle of a Pentagon Is 108. You Can find pentagons for tiles.

Hexagon Hexagon’s have 6 Sides. The Interior Angle of A Hexagon Is 720. Each Angle Of A Hexagon is 120. Hexagons Are related to Pentagons It’s just that Hexagons have one extra side. Hexagons can be found in Bee Hives for Honey Combs.

Heptagon A Heptagon has 7 Sides. The Interior Angle Of A Heptagon Is 900 Degrees. Each Angle Of A Heptagon is Degrees. A Heptagon Is Related to A Pentagon Because They’re both Have Flat bottoms when They are Straight Up.

Octagon An Octagon Has 8 Sides. An Octagons Interior Angle Is 1080 Degrees. Each Angle Of An Octagon Is 135 Degrees. An Octagon Is Related To A Quadrilateral Because A Quadrilateral Is Half Of An Octagon. You Can Find An Octagon On a Stop Sign.
