This is the story of Simon Shape Hello!

On Monday Simon Shape woke up feeling very hungry so he ate and ate and ate…

On Tuesday Simon woke up and his body was a square, but he was still hungry so he ate and ate and ate… Wow! I have 4 sides all the same length and 4 corners.

On Wednesday Simon woke up and his body was a rectangle, but he was still hungry so he ate and ate and ate… Look! I have 2 long and 2 short sides! I have 4 corners!

On Thursday Simon woke up and his body was a pentagon, but he was still hungry so he ate and ate and ate… Oh dear! I have 5 sides and 5 corners now!

On Friday Simon woke up and his body was a hexagon, but he was still hungry so he ate and ate and ate… Look! 6 sides now and 6 corners! Oh dear!

On Saturday Simon woke up and his body was an octagon, and Simon felt sick. He didn’t eat ALL day. 8 sides and 8 corners! I am not happy!

On Sunday Simon was back to being a triangle again. That’s better! I have 3 sides and 3 corners.
