9.GTS facilities in RTH Tokyo Current Message Switching System (MSS) and FAX Exchange system started operation in March They, especially MSS, are now nearing the limits in handling data volume and processing load. FTP servers have still enough capacity to expand the satellite data exchange. Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) is to replace them by new ones in October 2005 in consideration of expansion and improvement of information exchange.
