(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.8 LESSON GOAL: I will learn how to live in constant renewal LESSON OVERVIEW: Children will understand that all people face difficulties in life and Jesus has the solution to all your problems. The Water of Life has been planted in all of those who received Him. This water produces life and it is free for everyone who will drink it. The key to living a constant renewal is to enjoy the life of Jesus that is in you. This life overflows when you dwell in and enjoy His Word, His presence and His Spirit.

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.9 MEMORY VERSE Everyone who hears this should say, "Come!" If you are thirsty, come! If you want life-giving water, come and take it. It's free!

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.10 OBJECT LESSON: CELERY

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.11 WE NEED JESUS!!! YOU and ME, we are like this celery, we need WATER to sustain us. Natural water may run out and is costly, but in Jesus, the WATER OF LIFE, the water never runs out and is FREE OF CHARGE!!!

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.12 KIDS YOU MAY TRY THIS AT HOME: Step-By-Step Procedure 1. Cut celery stalk, tall enough to fit into the glasses. Make sure to chop off the bottom and the top at the leafy part so you're left with the stalks. 2. Fill your glass with water, about 3 inches from the top. 3. Add 10 drops of red food coloring to the glass. 4. Add 10 drops of blue food coloring to the other glass. 5. Place one piece of celery into each glass. 6. After 2 hours, take a stalk of celery out of a glass. 8. After 1-2 hpurs has passed, remove stalk and peel it, note changes. WE ALL NEED JESUS, THE WATER OF LIFE

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.13 WATER FACTS: Approximately 66% of the human body consists of water. Water exists within all our organs and it is transported throughout our body to assist physical functions. The total amount of water in the body of an average adult is 37 litres. Human brains are 75% water. Human bones are 25% water. Human blood is 83% water. 75% of a chicken is water. 80% of a pineapple is water.

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.14 WATER FACTS: 95% of a tomato is water. 70% of an elephant is water. Each day the sun evaporates a trillion tons of water. Trees are two thirds water The water that is on the Earth now is made up of the same minerals and elements that made up the water that was on the planet while the dinosaurs were wandering around. A person can live without food for a few weeks but a person can only live without water for a few days.

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.15 LESSON 1: THE WATER OF LIFE IS FREE Water is essential. Plants and animals cannot live without water. Man cannot live without water. Just as man cannot live without Jesus. Jesus is the Water of Life. Jesus is the solution to all the problems that we face in this earth. He never runs out of Life because He is Life. And if we received Jesus, the WATER OF LIFE is forever planted in our spirit.

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.27 The ONION According to an old English Rhyme, the thickness of an onion skin can help predict the severity of the winter. Thin skins mean a mild winter is coming while thick skins indicate a rough winter ahead. Onions may be one of your least favorite vegetable, but be amazed because the onion lives in constant renewal! Yes, the layers that you have seen a while ago, eventually becomes dry and inside it will reveal new healthy layer. Let us be reminded to be like onions, LIVE IN CONSTANT RENEWAL now that we know the WATER OF LIFE is free!!!

(c) 2007 brainybetty.com All Rights Reserved.28 LESSON 2: KEY TO CONSTANT RENEWAL The KEY to constant renewal is to DWELL IN and ENJOY: HIS WORD HIS PRESENCE HIS SPIRIT Attending Sunday School is one way of living in constant renewal! I challenge everyone not to miss one day of SUNDAY SCHOOL.
