Just About Me *Brianna Welch * 2 nd period

My Favorite Pictures These picture are what I want to be when I grow up a Pediatrician.

Me Myself & I My name is Brianna Welch. One day I want to help children if they are sick I want to help them. I love children. I loved them since I was 5 or 6.I have 1 sister and I have a mother and a father that really care s for me. My Birthday is on October 18,1996.My hobbies are hanging out with my closest friends, and going to the mall. I love going out with my family and my sister. I can depend on my family. I can ask them for anything without them hollering at me. I will love it when I go to be a pediatrician. I get to help a lot of children if they are sick or even need help. I have always cared for children. I love picking babies up and loving them. And I am very considerate when it come to my school work. I will always earn my work.My mom has been through with me and worked with the stuff I didn’t have a clue with it. Well that was all the stuff all about me. I hope you liked what I wrote for my Me Myself and I page until next B.Y.E.

My Occupational Picture My occupation is to become a famous pediatrician. The reason I want to be a pediatrician is because I love children and I would do anything to make them have a mile on their face.

Job Description The job description for pediatricians includes a wide variety of tasks including collecting medical history, ordering tests, administering treatment, and explaining procedures. Pediatricians communicate with nurses and other healthcare providers, and refer patients to medical specialists when necessary. Pediatricians plan and implement healthcare programs, as well as prepare reports for other organizations.

Job Qualifications According to the US Department of Labor, five percent of primary care physicians are in pediatrics. Employment opportunities for all physicians are expected to be excellent in the years to come. Between now and 2014, the number of physicians is expected to increase faster than average due to the growing demand for quality pediatric healthcare. Physicians coming out of medical school are more likely now to enter work at a hospital or a clinic rather than private practice. This offers quality health care to a larger population.

Earning/Projections Overall, Pediatrician salaries are based on years of experience, location, specialty, and the type of facility. According to Salary. com, the current median expected salary for a typical Pediatrician in the United States is $142,585. The Allied Physicians Salary survey reveals a difference in salary by years of experience for Pediatricians as follows: 1-2 Years - $ 135,000 3 or More - $ 175,000 Maximum - $ 271,000\ The same survey also revealed difference in maximum salary for specialists in pediatrics as follows: Cardiology: $607,000 Critical Care: $398,000 Oncology: $251,000 Neurology: $362,000
