Kathmandu update Data collection efforts continued: engagement and response remain limited Very partial picture of MPG activities Progress on collaboration with clusters – data already shared by Shelter and Early Recovery Planned engagement with Food Security District-level policies mapped out

Gorkha update CCG partners are in the process of signing the Letter of Agreement on MPGs Blanket coverage (required) But partners should be able to move onto the implementation

Charikot update CCG met with Chamber of Commerce to discuss labour rates Agreement reached by CCG to use the following CFW rates in Dolakha: – Unskilled: 500 NPR/day – Skilled: 630 NPR/day Group insurance for CFW activities (WFP only) – impact on other CFW partners Market monitoring ongoing ACTED becomes a co-chair of CCG

Chautara update (1) Attendees from 8 agencies; mix group Issues and Concerns raised 1. Templates on Market Monitoring, Cash Activity Mapping, and MPG Mapping were not trickled down to their agencies despite several communications sent from CCG Kathmandu Action: Templates were resent to CCG Chautara focal person: Kasaye Hagdu, OCHA and then to members 2. Some confusion on cash ‘technicalities’. Request to conduct basic orientation on Cash Transfer Programming to CCG Chautara members. Action: CCG will schedule basic orientations on CTP and will be offered to all CCGs and per request from agencies

3. Conflicting Cash for Work rates that affect agencies’ budgeting and planning Action: CCG in process of consolidating the various CFW rates in each district 4. Challenges on the MPG blanket versus targeting selection (Save the Children Case) Action: Members advised to make Risk Mitigation Planning and increase sensitization to beneficiaries Cash and Learning Partnership CaLP-Asia visit to Nepal Chautara update (2)
