CUTS SYSTEM AND TIMBER HARVESTING In the region the system of final felling has been established, which includes clear cuts and selective ways of timber harvesting. In Carpathian Mountains, in forests subordinated to State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine almost half of harvested timber is done through clear cuts. Though there is a trend of increase of continuous and selective cuts share. Main normative document is “RULES OF FINAL FELLING IN MOUNTAIN FORESTS OF CARPATHIANS” (2008)
