Reporting the Weather Report on daily weather conditions for a month-long time period and discuss the tools we used to collect our weather data. Our Challenge…. To help you better understand weather conditions and ways to track and record them.

Weather Reporting Tools Tools we used:  Ruler  Thermometer  Barometer  Anemometer  Pencil, paper, computer, and software

Making an Anemometer 2 cardboard strips 4 cups Pencil Ruler and Stapler Scissors Watch with seconds hand (no CD with the textbook I am using thus I cannot add in the picture of the anemometer)

Weather data: Recorded October 1 through October 31

October Assignments Recorded daily rainfall and snowfall amounts Recorded daily high and low temperatures Recorded daily wind direction and speed at specific times of the day

Our Weather Research Team The class was divided into Weather Research Teams (WRT) each being responsible for recording precipitation amounts, temperatures, and wind speed and direction. Our WRT consisted of Lauren, Liam, Ben.

Storing Weather Data

Precipitation Amount

Our findings…. Average low temperature=58.6 Average high temperature=73.7 Total precipitation=5.9

Weather Reporting Team From Lauren, Liam, Mary and Ben, this has been our monthly weather report…. Until next time- Thanks!!!
