Where: Nuclear Power Plants Jobs: Reactor Operator, Equipment Operator, Shift Technical Advisor, Core Designer, Safety Analysis Education: High School Diploma to MS/PhD Utilities

There’s a need for people!  The demand exceeds the supply of graduates trained in nuclear science and technology.  Many nuclear professionals are retiring Nuclear Engineers have the 2 nd highest median income among the engineering professions at $99,920/year. (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, bls.gov, May 2010) Health Physicists have nearly as high a median salary, $96,250/year (Health Physics Society, 2012)
