Controls on Cell Division When there is an injury such as a cut in the skin or break in a bone, the cells at the edge of the injury are stimulated to divide rapidly.

Controls on Cell Division When the healing process nears completion, The rate of cell division slows down, controls on growth are restored, and every thing returns to normal.

Cell Cycle Regulators Cyclins regulate the timing of the cell cycle in the eukaryotic cells.
