Legislative Update Highway Trust Fund Another short-term extension of MAP-21, which extends the solvency of the fund until December 18, 2015 Approximately $8 Billion dollars to keep the money flowing for highway and infrastructure projects NARC (National Association of Regional Councils) Wicker-Booker Amendment Allows more local control of transportation funding Amendment was a part of a multi-year transportation reauthorization Senate bill called the DRIVE Act Allows an increase of overall STP funding and increase suballocation OKI contacted our Senators urging them to support amendment

Legislative Update Multi-Year Transportation Bill Senate has passed it, now in the House House Transportation Committee is very aware of the Brent Spence Bridge BSB could be a part of the Projects of National and Regional Significance (PNRS) list PNRS projects also include Ports and Port Infrastructure, more competitive list of projects that BSB would compete against Let’s stay Positive!
