Entrusted: Wisely Using God’s Gifts All for Him Matthew 25:14–30

Memory Verse “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Matthew 25:21

Learning Goals Explore: Students will discover that God expects His tangible blessings be used for His glory. Transform: Students will identify resources that they can use responsibly for God’s purposes.

Discussion What is your attitude toward someone who always seems to be serving or volunteering in your church and community? If you were the second servant, what would your attitude be about receiving a smaller amount than the first servant? Do you ever feel jealous of someone who seems to have more to give than you? Why? If the Bible is clear about how we must use our resources to serve to Lord, why are there so many needs not filled in our churches and our communities? What are the resources that God has given you that you believe are to be used for His purposes?

Key Study 1. God is the giver of all the resources that we possess. Matthew 25:14–15

Key Study 2. God gives us the ability to choose how we will use our resources. Matthew 25:16–18

Key Study 3. God will hold us accountable for how we utilize our resources. Matthew 25:19–30
