Element of Culture Customs and Traditions: The way people act, wear, what they eat, and sometimes their laws.

United States of America In the United States their traditions to celebrate Christmas are very similar to many other countries. They decorate their hoses with Christmas Wraths and a big Christmas Tree with Cranberries and Popcorn, they usually also decorate their Christmas Trees with Christmas Ornaments. They also have many present giving and Christmas dinners. To celebrate stores do Christmas Sales that last a while.

United Kingdom In the United Kingdom also known as Great Britain families often spend time together to see each other open presents from each other. They also have the custom of putting one or even two Christmas Trees in their houses.

Japan Christmas is not widely celebrated in Japan as it is celebrated in many other places but many customs and traditions have came to Japan from the US. Card and Present giving has appeared in Japan as well as the belief of Santa Claus for children.

Indonesia In Indonesia it is mostly Christians who believe in Christmas. Also in Indonesia to celebrate Christmas Christians go to church, as to Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Only a few families decorate Christmas Trees for celebration and decoration.

How to Respect For most places in the world most customs are the same. In general try to spend time together and remember it is the season of giving and not getting. You should also be kind, especially to the ones you love truly. Don’t forget anyone and always remember about those close to you. You should also remember that some people may have a different way of celebrating, respect those people and you might even learn something new from them.

Similarities In most places they now have he custom of putting Christmas Trees in their houses, also the custom or belief of Santa Claus has grown widely to children in most places.
