Spring 2002 ASME/API Gas-Lift Workshop General Layout of Workshop and Call for Papers/Presentations General Instructions The workshop will be held at the Marriott North Hotel. This is in the Greenspoint area, close to Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, USA. It will be held on February 5 and 6, If you are interested in nominating a paper, presentation, or display, please contact: -Cleon Dunham at oilfieldautomation.com or -John Martinez at juno.com Formal papers are not required. However, we do require you to submit: -The title and abstract of your paper or presentation by January 15, An electronic copy of your presentation by February 1, An electronic copy of your paper by February 1, 2002, if you plan to write a paper.

Spring 2002 ASME/API Gas-Lift Workshop Call for Presentations Gas-Lift Surveillance –Presentations and a panel discussion on how Operating Companies, Supply Companies, or others perform special or routine gas-lift surveillance, now they staff for surveillance, how they train and motivate their surveillance staff, etc. (We'll choose up to six presentations.) Gas-Lift Training –Presentations from Operating Companies, Supply Companies, Universities, or Consultants on gas-lift training programs, techniques, etc. (We'll choose up to three presentations.) New Technology –Presentations and a panel discussion from Operating Companies, Supply Companies, or Consultants on new or novel gas-lift technologies. (We'll choose up to four presentations.) Gas-Lift Field Reviews –Presentations and a panel discussion by Operating Companies or others on both successful and unsuccessful field applications of gas-lift. (We'll choose up to six presentations.) Gas-Lift Committees –Meeting of the API RP 11V Committee to: Approve API RP 11V8 Continue Review of API RP 11V5 Consider New API RP's –Design for PPO Gas-Lift Valves –Design for Dual Gas-Lift Wells –Design for Intermittent Gas-Lift –RP for Gas-Lift Automation & Control –RP for Surface Controlled Gas-Lift Break-Out Sessions –Informal discussions of various gas-lift topics of interest.
