The Power of Assets

Less Students are Smoking Percent of Grade 10 Students who are Current Smokers (Daily or Occasional) by Year From 2009 to 2011, Ontario smoking rates went from 15% down to 10% (OSDUHS)

Heavy Drinking is Decreasing Percent of Grade 10 Students Reporting at Least One Episode of Heavy Drinking in the Last 12 Months, by Year Heavy drinking is defined as: 5 or more drinks on one occasion over the last 12 months

Cannabis Use is Down Percent of Grade 10 Students Reporting Using Cannabis in the Last 12 Months, by Year From 2009 to 2011, cannabis use in Ontario youth went from 31% to 25%. (OSDUHS, ages 12-17)
