 What is a biography?  What kinds of biographies do you know?  Have you ever read one?  Who was it about?  What kind of information should a biography have?  What linguistic features do you expect to find in a biography? Exemplify.

In groups: Read about a writer and a painter. Answer the questions:  Where was she/he born?  When was she/he born?  What do you learn about his/her childhood?  Which people played a part in her/his life?  What do you think were the most important events in her/his life?  What do you learn of her/hius works?  When did she/he die?

 Based on the biographies you’ve read, think about your autobiography. Write it down and hand it on 31 March,  Who are you?  Where were you born?  What was your family like?  What was your childhood like?  Which people played an important part in your life?  What were the most important events hi your life?  What were important dates for you?  How did you decide to study here?  (...)
