When can I submit? Submit early, submit often! Progress reports, from midterm on, are the full thesis proposals with additions, pointed out. The goal of the READING course is to create a thesis proposal as an outcome that is acceptable!

What is an acceptable thesis proposal? It can’t be trivial! It must be doable in the given time! Plan for failure! Research is a speculative activity! You WILL not be productive every week. It is all due the Wednesday the week before thanksgiving (in two weeks)

Conclusion 6. Related Results (in final phase of thesis) 7. Conclusion Future work (after the thesis is done) 8. Literature Cited (30-45 papers)
