Diffusion and Osmosis with Eggs

Background Some things can pass through the cell membrane and some things cannot; this is called selective permeability. As chemicals pass into and out of a cell, they move from areas of high concentration to areas of low concentration. This process is called diffusion. diffusion Water can also move into and out of the cell by osmosis.
