HQ (Steve Cole) leading SEAC4RS EPO/PA effort First EPO planning telecon: February 8, 1PM Pacific Main NSERC personnel supporting SEAC4RS EPO effort Science and Education Coordinator (Emily Schaller) Media Specialist/Videographer (Jane Peterson) SEAC4RS Education and Public Outreach

Pre mission – Collaborate with HQ and other NASA centers to write mission overview article – Provide pictures and video of instrument integration During mission – Science and Education Coordinator and Media Specialist will travel to Thailand for ~10 days – Write status updates and provide video footage for SEAC4RS website and other nasa.gov portals – Social Media – Maintain SEAC4RS mission blog » Write posts and encourage first-person contributions from scientists and students in the field » Q+A with scientists/pilots/others – Twitter » Frequent tweets before, during and/or after flights » NSERC EPO personnel on xchat during mission will enable rapid tweeting of events – On camera interviews with scientists and video footage of and from aircraft for mission documentary Post mission – Production of SEAC4RS video documentary – Documentary will be posted on NASA Airborne Science website, presented at NASA booths at national/international conferences, and DVDs distributed to PI’s NSERC SEAC4RS EPO Activities
