INTRODUCTION PROBLEM STATEMENT OBJECTIVE LITERATURE REVIEW METHODOLOGY DESIGN CONCEPT OPERATION SEQUENCE RESULTS ECONOMIC ANALYSIS CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATIONS REFERENCE Q & A

A cup of hot drink is always a menu of breakfast and normally one has to wait for a little while in order for the drink to cool down. Handy water cooler is designed to ease one’s life by shortening the time needed for a hot drink to cool down to drinkable temperature. It reduces the water cooling time by 35%.

To design a device that can speed up the water cooling process To save the waiting time usually taken to cool down a hot drink

A plate-fin heat exchanger is made of layers of corrugated sheets separated by flat metal, typically aluminum, to create a series of finned chambers The fin is used to increase the structural integrity of the heat exchanger By using the fan, it will circulate the air surrounding the fin plate to increase the heat conduction rate

RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Develop further research and experiment on the design and material of the fin. 2. Increase the number of fin to increase the rate of transferring heat. 3. Develop handy water cooler to be more users friendly. CONCLUSION Handy water cooler is user friendly and was designed to save time in cooling the hot drink.
