What do you see? What’s happening in the image? Is this a painting, photograph, drawing, or some other type of image? Is this image old or new?

What new information do you have? What are the people wearing? Who might they be and what are they doing?

What has been added to the image that wasn’t there before? What time period do you think is depicted in the painting? Is there anything that doesn’t look quite right in this painting?

Do you recognize anyone in this painting? What do you think is happening in the painting?

How does the complete picture give you additional information? What event is depicted in the painting?
