ONC Our Neighbors Child Lauren Yates

What is ONC?  ONC is a non-profit, community based organization that provides holiday gifts for children in low income families.  ONC is a community effort, connecting schools, churches, local businesses and individuals within western Fairfax County.

How I got Involved  As an active member of Student Government in high school, I participated in ONC for 3 years.  Through Student Government I made connections with the founder and plan to continue to participate.

What I Do At ONC  Collect gifts to donate  Get friends and family to help volunteer  Help out at the workshop  Sorting gifts  Distributing presents to different families  Make stocking decorations  Take pictures for the high school and ONC website

How Others Can Help  Donate new toys to ONC  Board games, dolls, books, stuffed animals, bikes, etc.  Donate money that will go to purchasing toys for children  Sign-up to volunteer  (live near Fairfax County)
