AGENDA  INTRODUCTION  WHY Cloud Computing?  Example  What is Cloud Computing.  Architecture of Cloud Computing  Types Of Cloud Computing  Key Properties  Advantages of Cloud Computing  Disadvantages of Cloud Computing

Introduction  Traditional Computing  Data stored on single computer.  Data can be deleted or damaged or lost.  PC-Centric  Documents and files are located in single machine or small Local Area Network.  Can not access from any where (Access limitation).

Why cloud computing?  Data Recovery Is Possible  Authentication Is Possible  Less Expensive(Pay Per Use)  Remote Access Is Possible

What Is Cloud Computing?  Definition -> cloud is a large group of interconnected computers.  Extends beyond a single company or enterprise.  Access is via the Internet.

Architecture of cloud computing  Individual user connect to the cloud.  Cloud seen as single application, device or documents.  The hardware in the cloud is invisible.

Types of Cloud  Public Cloud  Private Cloud

Key properties of cloud computing:  Cloud Computing Is User Centric  Cloud Computing Is Powerful  Cloud Computing Is Accessible  Cloud Computing Is Intelligent  Cloud Computing Is Programmable

Advantages of Cloud Computing  Collaborators: The ability to share and edit documents in real time between multiple users is one of the primary benefits of web-based applications; it makes collaborating easy and even fun.  Road Warriors: you can access a single version of your document from any location.  Cost- Consious users: With cloud computing you can save money on both your hardware and software.

Disadvantages of Cloud Computing  Require Constant Internet Connection  Does not Work With Slow Connection  User Has Limited Access And Does Not Get Freedom Because They Depends On Cloud Computing Provider

Conclusion  Thus cloud computing provide a super-computing power. This cloud of computers extends beyond a single company or enterprise.  The applications and data served by the cloud are available to broad group of users, cross-enterprise and cross-platform.
