Foundations of Technology Introduction to Engineering Design Designing Technological Solutions Advance Design Applications Advance Technical Applications TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION AND ENGINEERING Mr. Krach Mr. Peters Mr. Popeck Mr. Pazulski

Students will explore and develop a deep understanding scope of technology. Students will develop an understanding of the attributes of design and develop skills by using the design process to solve technological problems. Students will develop a positive attitude about safety and skills through research, problem solving, testing, and working collaboratively This class meets the Technology Education Credit FOUNDATIONS OF TECHNOLOGY Mr. Peters Mr. Popeck

This is an introductory course that develops students' problem-solving skills, with a variety of design challenges. In this course students develop solutions to design challenges using the engineering design process. With a computer and a 3-D solid modeling software students produce, analyze, and evaluate models of projects and solutions. Students will study the design concepts of form and function This class meets the Technology Education Credit INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING DESIGN Mr. Krach

Students are introduced to engineering design and development through software engineering robotics technology. Students explore and develop an understanding of technological issues and their influence on history. Student projects involve developing software for applications in the study of energy and power, construction, manufacturing, and communication. Student lab experiences involve projects demonstrating their understanding of the design processes, identifying and defining problems, and realizing design solutions. This class meets the Technology Education Credit DESIGN TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS Mr. Pazulski

Students will gain a deeper understanding of four human-designed world areas: Manufacturing Technologies, Energy and Power Technologies, Construction Technologies, and Transportation Technologies. Students engage in individual and group activities creating ideas; developing innovations; and designing, fabricating, and engineering practical solutions This class meets the Advance Technology Education Credit ADVANCE DESIGN APPLICATIONS Mr. Peters
