Hold fast to dreams For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams For when dreams go Life is a barren field Frozen with snow.

The poem is sad and emotional. The poem gives a deep thoughtful meaning. LYRIC POEM

The poem literally says that you need to hold onto your dreams because if your dreams die then your life cannot take off. LITERAL MEANING

The deeper meaning of this poem is that if you don’t follow your dreams and pursue what you are passionate about in life then you’ll be left with nothing and life will be as barren as a field frozen with snow. METAPHORICAL MEANING

Pursue your dreams, because if you don’t then you will never truly be happy. THEME
