WP5/ SUSTAIABILITY/ at Inter-Institutional level Meeting between all Israeli HEIs presidents ensuring high engagement in the project IDEA partners participated in a meeting at the Council for Higher Education in Israel on innovative models for developing trans-disciplinary curricula Shenkar student who participated in WP3 course currently conduct her internship program in FH-Koln. She choose to focus her Thesis project on Services Design with the mentoring of Prof. Birgit Mager FH-Koln and MDH are considering to set a joint academic program Prof. Birgit Mager conduct a Service Design workshop at MDH Future application under Erasmus+ (Shenkar) Students Exchange Agreement between some of the consortium partners are in progress The Innovation Survey (done under WP1) is presented by Dr. Harsisson in a conference in Denmark. Abstract of WP3 academic article was submitted to MDH Innovation Conference. IDEA information desk was opened at the ERASMUS + information day in Jerusalem IDEA was presented by prof. Yuli Tamir at the Erasmus+ launch event (participants: Israeli HEI presidents, Tempus coordinators and EU ambassadors).

HIT Got the institutional approval and budget to up a new physical innovation Hub at HIT Established cross-institutional committee to drive joint cross-departmental courses NBSD has formed a new slot in its academic schedule for interdisciplinary studies, and a work method to cooperate with the industry. SAP The International affairs department at SAP has created new infrastructure for international cooperation with the industry. Will take part in the institutional strategic plan for SAP under WP5. Will prepare an institutional IPR protection strategy. Shenkar Shenkar opened a new unit responsible for encouraging faculty members to build international networks and to facilitate them in writing grant applications. Initiation of IP commercialization via a third party. New library section on design and innovation opened with about 30 new titles. Establishment of a new cross-departmental academic course on Creative Leadership. Students who participated in WP3 activity continued to a new multi-disciplinary course: on Creative Leadership. Dr. Elad Harisson, Head of the Industrial Management department, started a master degree in Design. FH-Koln Alessandra Enriconi, student from IDEA partner FH-Koln, link her thesis projects to IDEA theme. WP5/ SUSTAIABILITY/ at Institutional level

SHENKAR White paper submitted to the Knesset’s Economics committee on May 2014 in a special “Art, Design and Engineering 2020 Forum” Testimonial movie on the collaboration with the industry Research project with Delta Galil is now analysed following the success of the workshop under WP3 High interest from the industry following exposure in the newspapers of the Open Design Hub conference WP5/ SUSTAIABILITY/ Cooperation with Industry
