MSc 2011/12 Summary Timetable 1 (Oct 4-Jan 20) For all programmes, Monday 3 October is dedicated to induction, for which a separate timetable has been published. 8 Teaching and assessment  Each module is taught and assessed within a 3-week period (“block mode”). Typically, teaching in first 2 weeks, assessment in 3 rd week. All assessment is 100% coursework.  Including in-class test which might “look like” exams.  After this, the next module starts.  We do not use an exam period for our MSc. In January, immediately after the 4 th module, we start with the 5 th module. This allows you to start with your MSc projects earlier.
