Łańcut is a town in south-eastern Poland with over 18,000 inhabitants Łańcut is a town in south-eastern Poland with over 18,000 inhabitants. It is situated about 18 km from Rzeszów. It is the capital of Łańcut County. The town has 660 years of history. The city was owned by aristocratic Polish families of Stadnicki, Lubomirski and Potocki.

Łańcut Łańcut belongs to the province Podkarpackie and lies 16 km to the east of the capital-Rzeszow. According to data from December 31st , 2008 Łańcut had 18 025 citizens. 
