Why can EU delegations (EUDs) promote Erasmus+? 2/2 Knowledge of higher education local environment, needs and peculiarities; Well-established contacts with local Ministries of Education, Universities, national (E+/Tempus) office; Local stakeholders consider EUDs as EU windows to get info about EU funded programmes; Synergies with other EUDs tools to promote the EU's image, policies, programmes and projects (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, separate websites, brochures, newspaper supplement, etc.).

How can EU delegations (EUDs) promote Erasmus+? 1/3 Hosting and organising E+ information days in cooperation with DG EAC, EACEA, local Tempus office and Ministry of Education; Participating in assessing applications (in the past: Tempus and Erasmus Mundus proposals ), if requested; Checking eligibility of partner organisations from Third Countries; Monitoring of projects in cooperation with EACEA and National (Tempus) offices; Organising pre-departure meetings for E+ degree mobility students (ex EM EMMCs students), if funds are available;

How can EU delegations (EUDs) promote Erasmus+? 2/3 Participating at education fairs; Providing information about E+ opportunities for students at ad hoc events like "EU-Study Week", "Europe day"; Participating at E+ projects kick off meeting, conference, seminars, etc. ; Organising coordination meetings with Embassies, Cultural Institutes, Education agencies (DAAD, British Council, Campus France, etc.) of EU Member States; Helping facilitate the issuing of visa for E+ students and academic staff grant holders;

How can EU delegations (EUDs) promote Erasmus+? 3/3 Synergies between E+ and other EU external policy instruments (example: Partnership Instrument); Synergies with ongoing and new projects implemented in the Partner Country (example: the EU Centres, Analysis of joint education programmes); Building synergies with other initiatives developed in the Partner Country: policy dialogue on specific issues; activities related to the Year-of-Science; Head of Delegation's visits to Universities; on-line interviews of the Head of Delegation or Head of Press and Information; Online questions from students on social networks, interviews to TV, radio, newspapers, etc.
